If there is one food that can wreak havoc on your dental health, that is sugar. While, of course, sugar can be enjoyed sparingly in any healthy diet, it is important to take steps to protect your teeth from it if you have a big "sweet tooth" like I do. While my parents encouraged good dental hygiene when I was a child, they didn't realize that the reason I had so many cavities at check-up time was because I was sneaking and eating candy at school! Due to my dental problems as a child, I have been determined to keep my teeth healthy as an adult. Aside from moderating sugar intake and always brushing after I eat sweets, I have learned many other dental care tips that I am eager to share with others on my new blog!
